Cookie policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026. This page explains which cookies jordirobert.com uses and how you can control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits.

Which cookies this site uses

Analytics (Google Analytics). Set by Google to measure how many people visit the site and which pages they read.

  • _ga: tells one visitor from another. Lasts 2 years.
  • _ga_ followed by an identifier: keeps the state of the session. Lasts 2 years.

Blog comments. If you tick the box to save your details when you comment, WordPress keeps your name, email and website in three cookies (comment_author_…, comment_author_email_… and comment_author_url_…) so you do not have to type them again. They last one year. If you do not tick the box, they are not saved.

Logging in. If someone logs in to the WordPress dashboard (only I do), WordPress uses its own technical cookies to keep the session open. Visitors do not get them.

The contact and newsletter forms do not set any cookies.

How to control them

You can see, block and delete cookies in your browser settings. To stop Google Analytics recording your visits on any website, Google offers a browser opt-out add-on.
