Privacy policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026. This policy explains what personal data I collect on jordirobert.com, what I use it for and what rights you have.

Who is responsible

Jordi Robert, based at C/Rocafort, 240, Entlo 3ª, 08029 Barcelona, Spain. For anything about your data, write to me at hola (at) jordirobert.com.

What data I process and why

Contact form. The data you type in (first and last name, email, company, job title, website, phone, service, company size, timeline, how you found the site and your message), together with the language, the page you write from and, if you arrive from an ad, the campaign parameters (gclid, utm, fbclid, li_fat_id). I use them to reply to you and, if we keep talking, to prepare a proposal. Legal basis: your request, that is, steps taken at your request before a possible contract (article 6.1.b GDPR).

Newsletter. Your email and, if you give them, your name and the topics you are interested in, plus the language and the page you sign up from. I use them to send you the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR), which you confirm with the link in the email you get when you sign up. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email. Ticking the newsletter box in the contact form is a separate choice and goes through the same confirmation.

Where you came from. Both forms also record the page that brought you there: its address if it is on this website or, if you come from elsewhere, only the site’s name.

Blog comments. Name, email, website and IP address, to publish your comment and prevent spam. Legal basis: your consent when you post the comment.

Spam protection. To limit repeated submissions, an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address is kept for one hour, never the address itself.

How long I keep it

  • Contact: while the conversation or the professional relationship lasts and, after that, as long as the law requires. If we do not end up working together, at most two years from the last contact.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Comments: while they are published.

Who else accesses your data

I do not sell or share your data. These providers process it on my behalf, under a data processing agreement:

  • Brevo, the email service where contacts are stored and the confirmation and newsletter are sent from.
  • Hostinger, the website hosting.
  • Google, to measure visits to the website with Google Analytics.

Brevo stores data on servers in the European Union (France, Germany and Belgium). Hostinger applies the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses if any data leaves the European Economic Area. Google may process data in the United States: it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where that does not apply, uses standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict its processing, ask for portability and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to me at hola (at) jordirobert.com. If you think I have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or to the authority of your country.

Changes

If I change this policy, I will update the date above.
